Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026 · MHC HEALTH PTY LTD (ABN 25 664 770 156)

wynssa is operated by MHC HEALTH PTY LTD in Australia. We connect mothers with postnatal recovery practitioners. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and what control you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information we collect

2. Health information (sensitive information)

Health information is sensitive information under Australian privacy law. We only collect it with your express consent, we use it only to care for you safely, and we never use it for marketing.

What we collect

With your express consent, and only where relevant to your postnatal recovery:

Why we collect it

What we will not do

About the EPDS

The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. If your score is elevated, or if you indicate any thoughts of harming yourself, we will flag this to you and to your practitioner and encourage you to speak to a professional — your GP, Lifeline on 13 11 14, or PANDA on 1300 726 306. We do not provide psychological treatment and this is not a substitute for medical care. If you are in immediate danger, call 000.

You can withdraw consent

You can withdraw your consent to us holding your health information at any time, and ask us to delete it. If you do, your practitioner will no longer be able to tailor treatment to your history or screen for contraindications.

3. How we use your information

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary:

5. Storage, security and overseas handling

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. Your information may be stored with providers located in or outside Australia; where information is handled overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected consistently with the APPs. We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (including your language), and understand how the service is used. You can manage cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

7. Your rights

You can access and correct the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. You can update much of it yourself in the app. You can opt out of marketing at any time — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

8. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact us first at hello@wynssa.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make a significant change we will tell you through the app or by email.
